Dig Deep Dash 5k run/walk

The Dig Deep Dash 5K Run/Walk will be a 3.1 mile race to benefit Dig Deep Theatre, a nonprofit 501(c)3 based in Santa Clarita! Support our mission of bringing quality theatre to the SCV and surrounding LA area. Family friendly, all ages and experience levels welcome! All proceeds from this 5K will go towards upcoming staged productions and readings of classic and contemporary dramas and comedies. As this event takes place in the month of Halloween - and we are a theatre company - participants are encouraged (but not required) to dress as a character from film, TV, or theatre!

Race Course

5k course

Starting at West Creek Park in Santa Clarita, CA, this course will follow a singular bike path/trail. This race is an out and back, meaning you start and finish at the same place. You will run to a certain point and there will be a designated point to turn around.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • No, you don’t need to dress up! A costume is not required! It is just a fun detail of our race!

  • This is our first race! We are so excited and we plan to make this a yearly effort!

  • A 5K is 3.1 miles!

  • ALL finishers receive a medal designed by a local artist and made out of sustainable materials.

  • For your safety and the safety of others, we do not recommend wearing headphones while running. However, if you do, we ask that you either keep the volume down to a safe level so you can hear other runners and instructions from event personnel OR only wear ONE earbud.

  • The race will start at 8am

  • The Dig Deep Dash will be at West Creek Park, 24247 Village Cir Dr, Valencia, CA 91354

  • There is a free parking lot and free street parking!

  • Walkers hug the right, runners pass on the left.
