Dig Deep Dash 5k run/walk
The Dig Deep Dash 5K Run/Walk is a 3.1 mile race to benefit Dig Deep Theatre, a nonprofit 501(c)3 based in Santa Clarita!
The 2nd Annual Dig Deep Dash will be held at 8am on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7th, 2026 at West Creek Park.
Support our mission of bringing quality theatre to the SCV and surrounding LA area. Family friendly, all ages and experience levels welcome! All proceeds from our 5K goes towards upcoming staged productions and readings of classic and contemporary dramas and comedies. As we are a theatre company - participants are encouraged (but not required) to dress in costume—as a character from film, TV, or theatre!

All participants will receive a 2026 medal (dated with 2026 race date and updated ribbon), made of recycled materials; as well as a goody bag with water, banana, snacks and more to be announced soon! Check back for more details!

There will be additional prizes for Race and Best Costume winners. Our 2025 Race had prizes such as passes to Top Out Climbing Gym, 30-days Free to Gold’s Gym, and a free yoga class at Serenity Hot Yoga!

A sustainably planned race all to benefit THE THEATRE!
Race Course
5k course
Starting at West Creek Park in Santa Clarita, CA, this course will follow a singular bike path/trail. This race is an out and back, meaning you start and finish at the same place. You will run to a certain point and there will be a designated point to turn around.
Bib Pick up
Bib Pick Up will be on race morning starting at 7:00am.
Corral/Start Line Festivities will begin at 8:00am.
Gun time will 8:10am.
Dig Deep dash 5K run/walk Participation Medal
All race participants will receive a Dig Deep Dash medal, full of Santa Clarita EASTER EGGS, dated with our 2026 race date of November 7 2026, as well as an updated ribbon!
This medal is FULLY SUSTAINABLY MADE of recycled materials and designed by a CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS MFA Graphic Design Student: Lizzy Whitney.

No, you don’t need to dress up! A costume is not required! It is just a fun detail of our race!

A 5K is 3.1 miles!

ALL finishers receive a medal designed by a local artist and made out of sustainable materials.

For your safety and the safety of others, we do not recommend wearing headphones while running. However, if you do, we ask that you either keep the volume down to a safe level so you can hear other runners and instructions from event personnel OR only wear ONE earbud. Our race happens along a bike path, so we need our runners to be aware of their surroundings for their safety and those around them.
